If you’ve ever found yourself spending half a day answering emails, moving appointments around, updating your website, scheduling social media and wondering when you’re actually going to get around to doing the work that makes you money… you may need a Virtual Assistant.
Or, as I like to think of it, you need someone who can quietly get on with all the things that need doing while you get on with running your business.
So, what does a Virtual Assistant do?
The short answer is: quite a lot.
A VA can provide the practical support that a business needs without you having to employ someone full-time. For me, that includes virtual PA and administration support, social media and website support.
Your inbox doesn’t need to be a full-time job. I can help with inbox management, diary management, data entry, typing, customer enquiries and all those little administrative jobs that somehow turn into rather large chunks of your day.
I’m also able to help with social media, including creating and scheduling content across Facebook and Instagram, creating reels and carousels and responding to messages. Instagram is an area I particularly enjoy, so if you’re staring at your account wondering what on earth you’re supposed to post next, we should probably talk.
Then there’s your website. It doesn’t need to be rebuilt every Tuesday, but it does need to look like someone is actually paying attention to it. I can help with uploading blogs, updating pages, proofreading and editing content and sending newsletters.
It’s the sort of work that often gets pushed down the to-do list because something else is more urgent.
Until six months later, when the website is still proudly advertising something that ended in January.
But why choose an experienced VA?
I’m not starting from a background of simply completing admin tasks. With over 20 years experience in support roles, I’m currently responsible for running the day-to-day operations of a busy business. That means dealing with every email and phone call, converting enquiries into customers, managing payments and refunds, maintaining customer relationships, working with a CRM system, coordinating with staff and customers, and making sure the office actually functions.
That experience has taught me to look beyond the task itself.
It’s not just about answering an email. It’s about understanding what needs to happen next.
It’s not just about entering information into a system. It’s about making sure the information is accurate and useful.
It’s not just about posting something on Instagram. It’s about creating content that represents the business properly and keeps it visible.
And it’s definitely not about waiting around to be told what to do every five minutes.
Who can The Dynamic VA help?
I work with small businesses and business owners who are busy enough to need support, but may not need — or want — a full-time employee.
You might be a business owner drowning in admin, a consultant or professional who needs more time for clients, a small business that has grown faster than its admin systems or someone who knows they should be posting on social media but never gets around to it.
You might simply have a website that desperately needs updating or a growing business that needs an experienced pair of hands behind the scenes.
And because I’m based in Wokingham, I can support businesses across Berkshire, as well as working fully remotely with clients anywhere in the UK.
You don’t have to do everything yourself
There seems to be a strange expectation among business owners that they should be able to do everything.
Run the business. Answer the emails. Manage the diary. Do the accounts. Write the social media. Update the website. Deal with customers. Remember everyone’s birthdays.
Probably make the coffee too.
You don’t.
Getting support isn’t a sign that your business is failing. Quite the opposite. It means you’re recognising that your time is valuable and that some things are better handed to someone who knows what they’re doing.
That’s where I come in.
The Dynamic VA provides practical virtual PA, administration, social media and website support for businesses across Berkshire and remotely throughout the UK.
If there are jobs on your to-do list that have been sitting there for far too long, let’s have a chat.
I’ll bring the experience.
You can keep the coffee.
